About Our Pastor

Pastor C.J. Ross Jr. was born in Parkton, NC to the late C.J. Ross Sr. and Helen F. Ross. He attended the Robeson County Schools and graduated from Parkton High School.

In preparation, after the call by God, he was licensed by the Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church and ordained by the Union Missionary Baptist Association. Pastor Ross is currently a member of the Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church, serving as the Executive Administrator to the Pastor, Associate Minister, Sunday School Teacher, Usher Ministry, Male Choir and the Youth Ministry.

Pastor Ross served as an instructor for the Hammond Creek Baptist Association Ordination Academy. He has taught in the areas of the General Baptist State Congress of Christian Education. He served as the Assistant Secretary for Union of Union.

Pastor Ross pastored Hills Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Faison, N.C. from May 2009 to June 2017. He is married to Mrs. Felicia B. Ross. They have one daughter, Brittany D. Ross.
